I believe that if a technician knows how to implant pigment into the skin, they should also be able to remove it and vice versa.
That’s why I offer you the highest standard to remove old unwanted brow tattoos, and I can be with you from start to finish should you wish for them to be rebuilt again.
Unwanted old tattoos can be removed gradually over a series of sessions using a laser. The energy from the laser beaks down the tattoo ink into tiny fragments which are then absorbed by your bodies lymphatic system and passed out of the body.
Black / Grey or Blue ink absorbs all laser wavelengths, making it the easiest colour to treat. Other colours can be treated by my laser machine based upon the pigment colour and pigment type.
There are 3 different types of pigment on the (SEMI) PERMANENT BROW market (Inorganic, Organic and hybrid) which is why a thorough level of understanding and expertise is held by me and a consultation and patch test is carried out before beginning your removal treatment so that I can discover what has been implanted into your skin and the best course of treatment to help restore your brows again.
As this is a results based treatment, how many sessions you'll need varies from person to person and is decided by your lymphatic and immune system.
In order to know how many removals you'll need, there are lots of factors to consider such as : How old the tattoo is, what inks were used, permanent brow treatment method, the pressure and technique your original technician used, how many treatments of permanent brows were had in total, how well your immune system performs etc.
A thorough face to face consultation and patch test is needed before a treatment plan specifically designed for you can be mapped out.
Saline removal involves pulling the ink out of the skin. Saline solution is made up of salt and water and disrupts the PH Levels in the body, meaning that as its implanted, it works to bring the pigment up and out of the epidermal layers of skin which then forms a light scab. When this solution is implanted into the skin, the natural effect of osmosis begins to take place. I use a hypertonic natural solution, therefore it contains a higher level of salt PH then the body contains.
This starts the process of osmosis, which moves the pigment upwards to the outer surface of the skin, and then the pigment is removed by the skin natural healing process. When this heals, the pigment is dramatically lighter. This treatment can be carried out until as much of the old pigment is cleared or until we’ve lifted out enough to be able to rework and rebuild brand new brows for you with optimal results.
The treatment takes 45 minutes - 1 hr depending on size of the area and the amount of pigment in the skin. As your brows begin to heal, they'll scab slightly (it looks like dry skin) and when this comes off - it takes the old pigment with it.
How many sessions you'll need will vary from person to person and it depends on factors such as - how old the tattoo is, what pigments were used and the results you're looking to achieve. All of this will be discussed, aswell as additional information on the benefits of this removal and a treatment plan will be put in place at your initial consultation.

It all depends on what pigments have been used in the skin and how many times you’ve had them done aswell as over how many years.
There are benefits to both saline and laser removal, and in some instances a combination of both may be needed.
This is why a consultation IN PERSON is necessary. I can see the skin in real life and together we can discover the best course of action for you.
The machine is simply a 'tool' The laser targets the pigment ns shatters it into tiny fragments. These are then absorbed into your bodies lymphatic system (immune system) and YOU (your body) breaks it down over the course of a few weeks, disposing of it and flushing it out of your body like it would all toxins.
You will gain more in depth knowledge of the treatments offered and have any questions answered. This time is also used to conduct a free patch test, so that if you decide to go ahead with the treatment then you will be well prepared to move forward. This consultation is no obligation to book - it will just arm you with all the knowledge you need to make a decision.
Permanent brow removal ; Laser = £100.00 Saline removal = £80.00
Tattoo ; Small (1x1 / 2x2 inch) = £70.00 Medium (4x4 / 5x5 inch) = £110.00 Large (6x6 or over) = £150.00
Prices are per session. How many sessions you will need depends on individual circumstances, although the average is 1-3.
Due to being a results driven process, its impossible to tell you exactly how many you will need.
How many sessions you will need depends on individual circumstances, although the average is 1-3.
It ultimately depends on what's in your skin, how many times you've had them done and the techniques of the original brow tech (for example - is there scarring present, what pigment type did they use etc)
But don't worry, my top priority is ensuring that the treatment is carried out safely and effectively, resulting in the least amount of sessions needed.
I can discover all of this for you at your consultations and a treatment plan can be put in place once a patch test has been done.
Due to the fact this is a results driven process, I wont be able to book your new permanent brow treatment in, until we've seen the results of your removal and determined how much pigment has been cleared and when your skin is ready.
I can usually give a good indication after seeing the results of your 2nd removal, so this will be booked in with me at salon as we work through the process.
Yes you will still need to have a patch test done with L R PRO as each machine, technical ability, knowledge, equipment and products used will vary depending on each salon / technician.
No laser machine can 'pick up' from where another has left off. This is because every machine (whether its the same brand or model) would have been made at different times. Factors that affect a laser machines performance is based on the model, how many shots are left in the lamp, service history, how clean the optics are, how well its maintained, how and when it was calibrated, how recently its been serviced and MOST importantly : the knowledge and ability of the laser technician.
Does having a Ferrari make you the best driver?
Whilst there is no denying that the better and more powerful the machine, the more effective and reliable the results are... its also important to consider what its been made to do and whether it is being operated by an expert to has extensive knowledge on lasers as well as permanent makeup pigments, including the effect of these on the body.
This is what sets me apart - I am highly qualified in the complexities of implanting pigment into the skin as well as removing it.
Some machines use 3 wavelengths and some use 2. The difference between a £30k laser and a £10k laser comes down to ability and what its equipped for. Its a bit like a washing machine and drier. Having one combined to do both, doesn't mean it washes the clothes any better. It just means it has additional benefits all-in-one so that clinics can treat a variety of client for multiple concerns.
For example: If you have permanent makeup pigment in the skin, you will more then likely have a lot of blue, grey or red ink residing in your brows (depending on the brand and pigment type)
Q switched Nd: yag (and double frequency Nd: yag) lasers are considered by dermatologists to be the most effective, safe and reliable way to remove unwanted multi coloured tattoos and permanent brows, as they possess 2 wavelengths and can effectively treat various ink colours - providing consistent, predictable results.
However, if you have a large tattoo with tattoo ink making up a multitude of brighter colours and layers, then a pico or ruby laser would be suited as it contains 3 wavelengths and can remove these brighter colours in less time.
It depends on what you're having removed and what you need the laser to target/ treat. If the laser is used to target multiple treatments, then the operations of it will include more, therefore the cost of the equipment is more (like buying a motor home versus a van. The more amenities, the bigger the cost of the vehicle)
Tattoo pigment and Permanent makeup pigment is different. The components, structure, colours and ingredients they contain all vary. I believe only a highly trained and skilled permanent make up technician can fully understand the complexities of cosmetic tattoo ink as they work with them in a living organism daily.
All clinical laser machines are very expensive. The most important thing to understand is how it will help YOU the best. A clinic who relies and markets the cost or model of the machine over their knowledge to try to convince you that you'll get the best results: is a red flag.
Whilst its important to have an excellent functioning machine when looking into laser removal, its also IMPERATIVE you research your technician / operators knowledge.
I have an exceptional machine - passive Q- Switch ND: Yag laser, dubbed as a "work-horse". It is the first face and and body device designed by UNDO PMU that is specifically customised and configured for use on the sensitive tissues of the face, whilst still strong enough to use on dark ink body art tattoos and permanent makeup removal.
My clients can attest that this delivers phenomenal results.
If you’ve had your brows done elsewhere and want them done at L R PRO then you will need removal or lifting sessions first. This is because the skin can only hold so much pigment. For optimum long term results and because my best work is carried out on ‘clean’ skin or skin that has less than 50% of current pigment remaining. Working over another artists work will not produce the best results for you long term. If you are unsure, please book in for a removal consultation so that I can see them in real life and assess what your next step will be.
