What sets my work apart is that I am artistry and technically led, fully understanding of the ebb and flow of brow hairs and how eyebrows should soften and work with our other facial features. Crafting a set of brows is totally bespoke to you. I don't do a one look suits all. My aim is to enhance what you already have (or create the illusion of a realistic brow through cosmetic makeup, if you don't have any natural hair) with the approach that they will age gracefully with your skin. I only offer natural results - not a makeup look. This means that the brows I create for you may need a little makeup in them from time to time if on occasion you want them darker or bolder.
I create subtle realism art, mimicking how natural hair grows - not a stamped shape or "neat, identical lines". This means that hairstrokes are designed to look like they are 'growing' out of the skin and they wont all be in formation - going the same direction. Its imperative that we see skin in between the strokes - this is what makes them look natural.
By booking in with me, you are confirming and acknowledging that you've taken the time to view my portfolio you agree to this statement and are choosing to work with me because of my unique artistic style and professional approach.
You're welcome to bring reference photos to the appointment if you wish, but please ensure they're of my work. I kindly ask that you refrain from bringing references of other artists work, celebrities, or images of brows that have been taken from unreliable sources such as Pinterest or google, as these could be heavily edited, photoshopped or even AI generated - thus creating unrealistic expectations of what can be achieved for you.
I focus on creating cosmetic brows that reflect my artistic vision for what the 'natural look' is and I will decline requests that feel too bold, exaggerated or outside the soft, realistic aesthetic that I'm known for, or anything that doesn't align with my values as an artist.
If you are highly particular about the placement of every individual hairstroke, I may not be the right brow artist for you. Just as you don’t count every eyelash during a lash extension or closely count and examine each strand your hairdresser highlights, brow work requires a level of trust in your artist’s experience and creative direction.
Of course my aim is to ensure you leave feeling confident and beautiful with your dream brows - so please make sure you like my approach so that we know we are the right fit for one another. By booking with me, you are also confirming that you trust my skills, training, and aesthetic judgment to create the most natural and flattering brows for your face. Excessively scrutinizing each stroke, or showing repeated doubt throughout the pre-draw and mapping process can disrupt the flow and quality of my work.
I pride myself on offering a detailed and thorough consultation, using my experience as a makeup artist to ensure you’re comfortable and happy with the plan before we proceed. This process typically takes between 15 to 45 minutes. However, if the consultation exceeds this time due to signs of excessive anxiety, distrust, possible body dysmorphia in how you view yourself, or if it becomes clear that your expectations are unrealistic or go against my values and skills as a Permanent makeup technician, and I have reason to believe you may leave dissatisfied regardless of my efforts, I will consider you unready for the treatment.
In such cases, please respect that I reserve the right to cancel the appointment and charge accordingly for the time used.
It’s important to understand the complexities of cosmetic tattooing and laser removal. I offer a laser removal service to assist clients who have botched brows or who are living with permanent brows they’re unhappy with. However, laser removal is not intended as a tool to alter my own work once you have agreed to the design and shape during the pre-draw consultation.
Laser removal is a detailed and gradual process, not a quick fix like using a pencil and eraser. That’s why I take great care and attention during the pre-draw stage of your new brows—to ensure you’re completely happy with the design before we proceed.
If there’s anything you’re unsure about or would like to adjust during this stage, please don’t hesitate to let me know. It’s important to address all concerns now to achieve the best result.
Once we move forward, small changes—like removing just one or two hair strokes—aren’t as straightforward as they might seem. These changes are timely, costly and totally preventative which is why I draw them on in draft before I even begin tattooing to ensure you're happy.
The top-up appointment is intended to enhance and perfect your brows, rather than make significant design alterations.
Thank you for understanding, and I’m here to help you feel confident and satisfied with your brows every step of the way.
While I am implanting pigment into the skin to create the appearance of fuller brows, it's important to remember that natural hair growth will still occur. You may need to continue removing any hairs that grow outside your desired shape, or continue to tint fair/grey/or blonde hairs, and use styling products to manage hair direction if needed. These aspects are beyond the scope of cosmetic tattooing, which works by depositing pigment into the skin to give the illusion of hair where there naturally isn't any. Permanent brows enhance your natural look, but they don't eliminate the need for routine brow maintenance.
Cosmetic tattooing pigment is designed to fade out over time. This is what makes this treatment 'semi - permanent'. Your skin is a living organ and there are many external factors (such as medication, lifestyle, diet and body health) that effect the longevity person to person, so please be aware that I cannot control how your body will break this pigment down, or foresee exactly how long that will take.
Manufacturers guidelines on pigment suggests that it can take anywhere between 1-5 years to fade based on an individual basis. Therefore I cannot tell you exactly when you will be due a colour boost, but what I can say - is that for best long term results, we want to wait until the pigment is at least 50% faded ALL OVER THE BROWS.
This means that they could start to fade out sooner at the fronts of them, or you might begin to notice over time - that you have some lighter areas as it fades. This is normal. You cannot have a colour boost intermittently to 'top up' these tiny areas up as they arise, as it will cause aesthetic problems long term and compromise your results. We must wait until they are faded out evenly across the entirety of the brows before we implant new pigment. This could mean that you go through a stage of perhaps having to use makeup on them at the end of their life span to conceal where they are beginning to fade - but when you come for your colour boost, they will then look great again for another 18-24 months (for example)
When you feel like your brows are 50% faded, then you can text me photos of them and I can double check for you and advise when we should rebook you. I cant guess this or pre book the colour boost until I see them later down the line and confirm they are ready. If you've had your brows done within 1 year then the likelihood that you need a colour boost is low. Generally speaking, on average - my clients are anywhere between 15-18-24 months from their original appointment to a colour boost.
Permanent makeup is great for the majority of people - however there are some individuals who may not be suitable. Please read the full list here to ensure you are a suitable candidate for the treatment. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
I always say to my clients, the treatment is 50% me and 50% you. While I carry out the procedure - how well they take, heal or last depends on you. Proper preparation and aftercare is key to ensuring we achieve the best results possible. Please commit fully to following my pre care and aftercare instructions, it really is for your best interests. These an be viewed here - along with an extensive healing guide here that I've put together. They will also be sent to you before and after your appointments with me so I definitely recommend screenshotting them for your reference.
